Live reading of Sleepy Hollow and the Tell Tale Heart
Philadelphia horror theater-maker and author Josh Hitchens performs two solo tales of terror. THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW relates the tale of Ichabod Crane’s dreadful encounter with the ghost of the Headless Horseman. Second, an unnamed madman tells you the story of a horrific murder and the even more frightening aftermath in THE TELL TALE HEART.
Complementary light refreshments will be available, and art featuring skulls and skeletons will be on display in the Gallery.

Fx Makeup: Cuts, Bruises, Skin Textures
Ages: 16 and up (minors must have parent/ legal guardian. There is a waiting area)
*Session includes supplies (kit will have makeup palette, liquid latex (15ML/.5OZ), FX blood, brushes.
Learn some basics on doing DIY Fx! Some easy cheats to achieve life like cuts, bruises, and skin textures using the most basic and old school B- movie effects!
The first part is an introduction to fx. Some cheap materials you can find at local dollar stores if you're on a budget and then we'll proceed into using liquid latex (do's and don'ts), achieving certain textures, and removal process.
Will even show you how to make your own fake blood much like how they did in Evil Dead.
There's no level of experience required!

The art includes realistic, impressionistic and abstract paintings along with pottery and photography. Please note, the studios that are open are on the second floor and require patrons to climb stairs.

Brush Painting Flowers with Barbara Mellin
Brush Painting Workshop / March 23/ $90 per person
What to expect: In this workshop, we will focus on creating flower petals and leaves using Chinese watercolors, Sumi ink and bamboo brushes. I will demonstrate a few important strokes and techniques, and then you will be able to practice them for yourself. All materials will be supplied. No art experience is necessary. By the end of the workshop, you will have created your own spring flowers using traditional techniques and materials.
All are welcome. (Min. age 18 yrs.)
