Hello! Welcome to my inaugural workshop:

Retrain Your Brain

Why? Because it’s art. We can do whatever we want.

The goal of these two sessions (Sunday, April 6th (Day1) and Sunday, April 13th (Day2) is to give yourself permission to create without judgement. To retrain your brain to work intuitively by shushing your ego and just letting go. Bring your favorite materials that inspire you to create. The only expectation is a willingness to experiment, make a mess, allow for mistakes, and engage in a process that may open you to new directions in your approach to your artwork. Expect homework, consider it a seven day challenge! We review your experience with this exercise in the 2nd session.

An itinerary will be emailed to you upon registration. Please feel free to reach out via text or email if you have any questions:

About Me:

In 1995-96ish, I started applying specific mental processes into my art practice. I decided to meditate/prayer for several minutes to ask the universe to help me turn off my ego and let the art and the universe direct the work. The result was that for the first time, my work authentically reflected my feelings without my needing to verbalize them. It was a breakthrough.

I graduated with: a BFA in Textile Design from Moore College of Art & Design in 1992; a Post Baccalaureate degree from The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2010; and an MFA in 2013, also from PAFA. I have exhibited predominantly along the East Coast and have work in private collections throughout the United States and internationally.
