Blue Jar is a woman-owned & operated business in Wallingford, PA - created by the artist Emie Hughes. We create botanical artworks, designs, and gifts for the home. We also teach workshops to all ages in the cyanotype process and movement. Emie is a mixed-media artist, choreographer, and educator. She has always been an artist, dancing and making things since the time she could walk. Trained as a modern dancer, Emie graduated with a B.A. in Dance/Theatre Arts from Dickinson College, where she won the Emil R. and Tamar Weiss Prize in Creative Arts. After graduating, she lived and worked in NYC for 6 years in the arts, arts administration, and fundraising.
